  • At what age does St. Patrick’s offer Confirmation?

    Students are eligible to register for Confirmation once they begin 8th grade. Preparation will begin in January of their 8th grade year. Students must have attended an approved religious education program with regular attendance for at least 8th grade and during the sacramental year. In addition to regular classes, students are required to attend weekly Sunday Mass, and attend a Confirmation retreat(s).

  • What are the requirements for enrollment in the Confirmation Preparation Program?

    Families of youth preparing for Confirmation must be registered members of St. Patrick’s and the student must be baptized in the Catholic Church. Students must have attended an approved religious education program with regular attendance for at least 7th and 8th grade and during the sacramental year. In addition to regular classes, students are required to attend weekly Sunday Mass, and attend a Confirmation retreat(s).

  • What if I’m an adult and need to be Confirmed?

    Baptized adult Catholics who haven't been Confirmed must participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). They will be Confirmed at Easter.

  • What are the requirements to be a Confirmation Sponsor?

    Confirmation sponsors must be practicing Catholics, at least 16 years of age, who have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. If married, the sponsor must be in a valid Catholic marriage. Confirmation sponsors will need to provide a certificate of edibility from their pastor.
