Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is on-going after receiving First Holy Communion. The children must continue to attend Faith Formation every year. The diocese requires that teens attend
two (2) years of formation prior to preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Therefore, teens who do not attend a Catholic school
must enroll in Faith Formation for Children for the 6th and 7th grade year. Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in September of eighth grade. We expect Confirmation to take place in May, with preparation beginning in September. We meet most Sundays from 10:05am. – 10:55am.
Eligibility Requirements
- Families of youth preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation must be registered and active in our parish community
- Completed 6th and 7th grade religious education in our parish faith formation program, an approved home school program or by attending Catholic school (diocese requirement)
- The teen must be Baptized in the Catholic Church (must provide baptismal certificate - email copy here)
